Community Service

KSLA-Seneca is active in its community. At each meeting, we collect personal care supplies (sample size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc.) to donate to the domestic violence shelters in Venango and Clarion Counties.

In the past, we have been involved in two international projects. During the 2018-2019 service year, we collected items for Wagner Family Eye Care. Every year, Dr. Wagner, optometrist, goes on a mission trip to Haiti, where he provides eye care to children who, otherwise, who would not have the opportunity for an annual eye exam. At this time, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to accept donations for this trip - but when we are able to, we will once again be looking forward to supporting this project.

In addition to this service project, we will continue to collect monetary donations at each meeting to send to Heifer International. To learn more about Heifer International, click here to visit its website.

KSLA-Seneca also donates board books to local hospitals to put in their individual "Welcome Baby" bags that go home with new parents.

In the past, KSLA-Seneca has been a co-sponsor of Venango County's Children's Day at the Cranberry Mall in Seneca, PA.
