Self Learning violin course is one of a kind on the Web! The course has been designed and instructed by renowned Indian violinist, Karthik Subramany.Karthik started to play violin at the age of five and gave first performance at the age of nine, at Ganesh temple in Bangalore. He has undergone training in Indian Classical, Carnatic music under eminent musicians and has been performing for more than 20 years. He has participated in many competitions and has won prizes. Being passionate about violin, he has not only restricted his violin playing to classical music but also well versed in playing Bollywood hits, Fusion, Ghazals and Irish folk. He has successfully completed the Western music theory course from the University of Edinburgh, UK with a score of 98% and Developing musicianship course from Berklee College of Music, USA with 100%. He has also successfully completed Teaching the Violin and Viola course from Northwestern University, USA with Distinction.

He has founded “Karthik Subramany Live”, a unique multi-genre fusion band consisting of accomplished professional musicians. The band has deep roots in Carnatic music and also plays Bollywood, Pop, Ghazals, Blues and more. He teaches violin at two reputed music institutes in Bangalore and conducts violin classes online to students worldwide.
