The players levy of 10 euros per player to be collected during the first two games by the team captain and submitted to Michael O'Sullivan once collected. This will ensure that all fees are fully paid before the Christmas break.
Teams must consist of 8 players and 3 substitutes (max 11 per panel, optional). Once a player plays with a team he must remain with that team for the duration of the league. Player registration sheets must be returned to the organising committee with entry fee. Copies of these will be available online.

The league will consist of four divisions 1, 2, 3 and 4. There will be promotion and relegation from each division at the end of each season. The top four teams in each division will compete in the semi finals, home and away. The format being 4th V 1st and 3rd V 2nd. the winners of both semi finals are promoted and will play off for the division at a neutral designated venue. Bottom two teams in each division will play a two legged relagation playoff with the loser relagated.
Games to start at 9.30 pm sharp.
Team members must be named on the night. Match sheets will be provided for each match and must be filled in by a rep from the home team. When the match is over both team reps must sign the sheets to verify the result. Sheets are to be kept safe in the home pub in case a dispute arises. The results to be texted by the home team to Michael O'Sullivan within 24 hours.
MARKER TO BE PROVIDED BY THE HOME TEAM EACH NIGHT. A caller may be used on agreement of both teams.
Due to the extra number of 'B' and 'C' teams in this years league there may be some fixtures where there are two teams playing a home fixture. If the need arises we are asking team reps to facilitate any request for a fixture change where possible if a pub cannot accommodate 2 games on the one night.
To cut down on disputes, it is recommended that the home team provide a temporary OCHE on match night. This can be removed once the match is complete.
No gamesmanship, goading or teasing of a player about to throw darts is permitted and the captains of both teams should ensure all players behave in a sporting manner.
If a match cannot be played on the scheduled date, it must be played within a fortnight of that date. The opposition of the team that cancelled has the priority in organising the refixed date. If the match is not played within two weeks the team who cancelled will lose the points and they will be awarded to the opposing team. It is advised to log all correspondence between team reps regarding attempts to refix matches in case the committee needs to intervene. Goodwill, should these situations arise will be greatly appreciated. This rule will be strictly adhered to.
For all finals a game of 1,001 worth one point will start the final. All 8 players from both teams play as per sequence on the match sheet. Where the fixture finishes 3-3 a further game of 1,001 will decide the winner.
The draw for the knockout Cup competition will take place during the Christmas break and will commence on Friday 5th January 2024. Match will be over one night with home advantage to teams from a lower division. Where two teams from same division are drawn together, home advantage will go to the team first out of the hat. First team to reach three points on the night wins the tie.
Rule to separate teams if they are tied on points for league positions : a. Result of matches between the two teams (over the two fixtures). b. If still tied the team with the most away points in all league matches. c. If still tied a playoff to be arranged at a neutral venue.
