Library of Congress Class Numbers for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Literatures: Alphabetical List Arranged by Name of Literature

This list enumerates the literature class numbers in the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) for East European and Eurasian literatures. The arrangement follows the alphabetical order of the names of the literatures in question.

Whereas these class numbers and their associated captions are taken from the LCC schedules, they differ from the schedules in one minor respect. The LCC schedules sometimes use old-fashioned forms of language names (e.g., “Adyghei” for current “Adygei”; “Daghestanian” for current “Dagestanian”; or “Lezghian” for current “Lezgian”). In such cases, the form of the name given in the list below follows current spellings -- which are generally used in the Library of Congress Subject Heading list -- rather than the older forms found in the schedules.

For the class numbers of associated languages, see Library of Congress Class Numbers for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Languages and Philology.
