What does PTA do for the students and school at Secrest?

• Host community movie nights
• Provide dinner for staff during fall parent/teacher conferences
• Organize and host the Firebird FUNd Run
• Host Boo at the School and Chili cook-off
• Help fund field trips
• Provide funds for snacks and ribbons for field day
• Provide funds for book bags (younger grades)
• Provide funds for special speakers (Anti-bullying)
• Provide funds for special parties and events (Firebird Fridays, holiday ornaments)
• Provide funds for smart boards and new computers
• Provide funds for the 5th grade continuation and help with kindergarten graduation
• Donate funds for families in needs
• Provide funds for the teachers and staff retirement parties/gifts
• Provide funds for students that need assistance with outdoor lab.
• Provide scholarships to former Secrest students going to college.
• Help with the vision and hearing testing in the fall.

We also do much, much more. We would like to have your support in making Secrest an even better school for your children.
