Our Program
The Seabreeze High School Instrumental Music Program is comprised of three comprehensive organizations. The Band, Orchestra, and Color Guard. These ensembles are made up of students ranging from 9th - 12th grade who perform on a variety of instruments and equipment.
As a part of the Instrumental music program, you can choose to be a part of one, two, or all three components of the organization! The band program is comprised of our Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion Ensemble. The Color Guard is also a part of the Marching Band and performs at all Friday night football games, MPAs (Music Performance Assessments), pep rallies, concerts, and in the spring semester participates in the highly competitive FFCC Winter Guard Competition Circuit. The Orchestra is a singular class that ranges from beginners to advanced string players playing a variety of music from modern to classical compositions. The Seabreeze Marching 100
The Seabreeze High School Marching 100, based in Daytona Beach, Florida, is celebrated for its high-energy performances and precise marching. With over 100 talented student musicians, the band excels in regional and national competitions, earning numerous awards. Their vibrant shows at football games, parades, and events highlight their dedication and skill, inspiring audiences and fostering a love for the arts.
Symphonic Band
The Seabreeze High School Symphonic Band, is renowned for its musical excellence and diverse repertoire. Comprising talented student musicians, the band performs a wide range of classical and contemporary pieces. Known for their high-quality performances, the Symphonic Band participates in concerts, festivals, and competitions, consistently earning top ratings and accolades. Under skilled leadership, the band fosters a deep appreciation for music and nurtures the talents of its members.
Color Guard/Winter Guard
The Seabreeze High School Color Guard, is known for its dynamic and visually captivating performances. Integrating dance, flag work, and other visual elements, the Color Guard enhances the school's marching band shows and participates in various competitions and events. In the spring, the color guard competes in the Florida Federation of Color Guards Circuit. Renowned for their precision, creativity, and teamwork, the group consistently earns high marks and accolades and has a tradition of high achievement.
Jazz Band
The Seabreeze High School Jazz Band, is celebrated for its vibrant performances and diverse repertoire, spanning classic jazz standards to contemporary pieces. Comprised of talented student musicians, the band showcases their skills at school concerts, local events, and jazz festivals, consistently earning high praise and accolades. Known for their improvisational talent and cohesive sound, the Seabreeze Jazz Band provides a dynamic and enriching musical experience for both performers and audiences.
Orchestra
The Seabreeze High School Orchestra, is acclaimed for its excellence in performing a wide range of classical and contemporary orchestral works. Composed of skilled student musicians, the orchestra participates in concerts, competitions, and community events, consistently earning high ratings and praise. Known for their musical precision and expressive performances, the Seabreeze High School Orchestra provides a rich and engaging experience for both its members and audiences.
