Bernard Husson, a famous Burgandy sculptor :
Bernard Husson devoted himself to sculpture in 1982, after his discovery of the stone work with "fellow tailors". Instinctively , he expresses himself in the spirit of Romanesque art sculpture and creates his own bestiary in which characters move . Thereafter, he is particularly interested in draping , links , ropes and more abstract representations.
He works also wood and iron and creates connections or supports intertwined his sculptures .
Winner of the International Center for Studies Romanes ( CIER ) in 1985 for his sculpture of " Pilgrim St Jacques de Compostela " exposed from the cloister of the Abbey of Saint Philibert Tournus.
- Bronze Medal ( General Council ) Burgundy South Mount St. Vincent in 1995.
- 1st prize of the academy " Jacques Boitiat " Barbizon in 2003 for his sculpture
"Ulysses" .
- He participates in numerous exhibitions internationally renowned and some of its
sculptures are visible in his workshop near TOURNUS ( FRANCE ).
