Life insurance is a topic that is too often overlooked. As long as we do not feel concerned with it, we do not realize how important it actually is. Indeed, life insurance brings with it many advantages, as it provides an infusion of cash for dealing with the adverse financial consequences of someone’s passing away. How would you deal with this cash flow?
A high amount of life insurance companies are flourishing on the market, and are supposed to help you take the right decisions to increase your financial return.
However, not all the insurance companies are the same, and some will provide you much more assets than the others. Therefore, you will need to choose carefully your life insurance company to make sure that your investment is in good hands.
To guide you in your choice, L’Express, a French weekly news magazine that releases more than 475,000 newspapers per month on average, has made a benchmark (available on the online version of the magazine) about the most famous French insurance companies.
More than 200 companies have been scanned and reviewed, and are graded on a scale of 0 to 20. This final score is based on technical and financial criteria, as well as the companies’ interest rates for the past five years.
To present the results of their studies, L’Express uses Awesome Table to display these life insurance companies in a Cards view, which has been completely redesigned for this purpose.
But that’s not all! If you were already under a contract, you can search for your own insurance company thanks to the filtering option, or simply type the name on the search bar to find your contract. You will then access to the evolution of the loan rates over the years.

Each card displays a global note based on several parts of criteria from a technical and financial side. If you click on a card you are able to see the rates for each year from 2012. Thanks to Awesome Table, readers of L’Express are given the ability to find the best insurance companies in France quickly and easily. This view will also help them to decide whether they should change their insurance companies or not, based on the scores provided by L’Express.
