Why should you purchase a Screening Systems Gyratory Separator?

HERE’S WHY

Flexibility, Minimum Vibration, Outstanding Efficiencies, Dust Free, Low HP, High Capacities with Minimal Floor Space, Proven Performance, Low Maintenance, Superior Construction, and Cost.

HOW IT WORKS

By means of gyratory motion, the Screening Systems (SS) series of gyratory screeners have the ability to screen, scalp, sift, size or clean a variety of products. Utilizing a superior drive system combined with machine balancing allows speeds of rotation much greater than conventional screeners, which are driven by linkage or eccentrics. The adjustable stroke and speed of the SS gyratory screeners allow for a maximum presentation of screen surface to the product and therefore, much higher capacities and efficiencies than from conventional separators.

In nearly all cases, a gyratory motion obtains the highest possible throughput of product per unit of screen area. Since the particles travel longitudinally down the sieve, the motion allows for lateral, diagonal and length separation through varying screen openings and layers. With gyratory action, the particles are exposed to a greater number of screen openings per pass, as compared with other separators.

By utilizing the latest available technology, Screening Systems, LLC has set a new standard in gyratory screen separation. The SS series of high quality, gyratory separators are truly TODAY’S leaders in capacity, efficiency, versatility and performance.

Our service goals are to meet or exceed your expectations by being accessible to answer your questions; reviewing your application personally at your facility; testing your product quickly; assisting in integrating the screener with your other equipment; quickly responding with quotes; maintaining faster-than-industry standard deliveries; offering free start-up assistance; and following up with you from time to time after commissioning.

Located in St Louis, Michigan, Crippen Manufacturing Company maintains a 50,000-ft² facility with over 40 employees. Crippen has been building separation equipment for 80 years. With our 25 years of application knowledge and systems integration capabilities along with Crippen’s engineering and manufacturing skills, Screening Systems, LLC can offer each customer everything they need to far exceed your separation needs.

Although the SS Series of gyratory separators do not require many parts, replacement screen cloth, screen frames, and deblinding balls will be necessary from time to time. The frequency will depend upon the abrasiveness of your product. When that time comes, we will be ready and willing to respond to your parts and delivery needs.

A fully equipped testing facility is located in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, (50 minutes from Madison Wisconsin). By utilizing a production machine, we can verify capacities and efficiencies to ensure that your machine is the properly sized and set up to give you the results you desire--Free of Charge!

Examples of Flow, Deck & Screen Combinations

There are three basic flow combinations for the SS series gyratory separators: Universal Flow for standard separation applications, Mass Flow for high capacity applications, and Dual Flow for more precise separations where increased screen retention time is required. Out of these three basic flows are many variations of scalp/sift/size combinations that allow the SS series of gyratory separators the flexibility to meet all customer needs in capacity, reliability, economy, separation and efficiency.
