My name is Mrs. Sarah Hardin. I am a wife, mother of two, and a science teacher. I teach Physical Science, Chemistry 1 and 2, Physics, Earth Science, Standards Science, and Advanced Biology at Mullen High School in the rural community of Mullen, Nebraska. I am also an assistant track coach, STEM Club leader, and EMT.
I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2003 with a comprehensive degree in Biology with an emphasis on Agriculture. I recieved my teaching certificate in 2007 through the Transition to Teaching Program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Master's Degree in Biology. I am a National Geographic Certified Educator and hold a STEM certification through the NASA Endeavor program.
I offer dual credit courses in Biology and Chemistry through the Honors Academy at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Each of these is a 4 credit hour class with lab work included.
I have two general goals for all of my students: 1) That they learn the material presented in class and 2) that they enjoy the learning process. I don't believe either of these is possible without the other. I hope you enjoy my page!
