About the PTASchool

The Paulo Teng An Sumodjo School of Electrochemistry is annually organized at IQUSP. The target audience is graduate students and young doctors from all over the world. The number of participants is limited to 25 to ensure access to equipment to develop the experiments in small groups.
The 13th PTASchool of Electrochemistry will be held from 2nd to 5th December, 2018

          About the ESECS_3

Electrochemical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) together with Advanced Electrochemical Devices (AED) have become highly efficient and competitive in recent years. This fact, together with the demand for new chemistries for these devices, has led electrochemistry to the center of debate and research to introduce EESS and AED into mobile systems for transportation, agriculture, manufacturing and health care as well as transforming electricity distribution networks into smart networks with an increase in the contribution of intermittent systems of energy production (solar cells, wind, mechanics). This workshop is dedicated to updating in Brazil the state of the art of these systems and to contribute to the training of professionals who can work in this area of research. This is the third workshop in the last 5 years, considering its beginning in 2013, when an Advanced Science School of São Paulo State was organized at the Chemistry Institute of the University of São Paulo sponsored by FAPESP.
ESECS_3 will be held on 6th and 7th December, 2018
