ACA - American Counseling Association

• The ACA publishes their own journal. This organization is dedicated to providing professional counselors with cutting edge research and spreading important information.

ASCA - American School Counseling Association

• ASCA supports school counselors working in all educational settings, elementary, middle, and high schools, community colleges and universities.
• ASCA is connected to school counseling organizations around the world, but they aim to provide the most support and resources to American school counselors.
• An ASCA membership provides access to continuing education, professional development, information about ethics, new laws and advocacy.

WCA - Washington Counseling Association

• The WCA is a state branch of the ACA, catering to the same counseling specializations as the ACA. This organization gives counselors the opportunity to communicate and network with other counselors on a more local level.
• The WCA hots an annual conference and provides discounted conference fees to WCA members.
• Members receive quarterly newsletters, emails, and information on new legislation and advocacy. They also receive opportunities for employment and continuing counselor education.

WSCA - Washington State School Counseling Association

• The WSCA has been dedicated to promoting the professional development of school counselors in Washington State since 1965.
