Registration costs: Alumni Brothers $200 and College Brothers $150.
Chapter delegates, alumni brothers, college brothers, and neophytes (Fall 2023 and Spring 2024) in "good standing” are invited to register to attend the 64th Annual District Conference of the South Carolina Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Conference will convene October 3-5, 2024, at Claflin University Student Center located on the campus at 1801 Magnolia Street, Orangeburg, South Carolina (29118). The Conference is an in-person conference, and registration categories are listed above.
For the purpose of this District Conference, chapter delegate strength is based on the number of financial brothers within chapters as prescribed by the Constitution of the General Organization. Registration includes the Fraternal/Recognition Luncheon, the Belford V. Lawson Oratorical Luncheon, and the Miss Old Gold and Black Scholarship Competition & Awards Program.
NOTE CHANGE: with SC Alpha Chapter Delegates
Chapter Delegates are now required to register individually rather than through a single Chapter Registration process. Each Chapter Delegate must sign up individually. This change allows us to notify brothers if their delegate count exceeds the allocated number and remove any delegates exceeding the limit.
All registered brothers will assemble under the theme, South Carolina Brothers Embracing the ALPHA IMPACT: Voter Registration! Voter Education! Voter Mobilization!
What you need to know to register for the Conference:
Be sure to select your Registration Type: Chapter Delegate, Alumni Brother, College Brother, Neophyte, or Guest.
You must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Masks are recommended but not required.
You must enter your national membership identification number. Please do not enter your life member number. Your membership identification number can be found in the AlphaMX membership portal.
What can you do to ensure the success of the 64th Annual South Carolina District Conference?
The answer is simple: make sure that your chapter delegates reserve your hotel room by September 6th and register for the District Conference by September 24(midnight). Please continuously review this site (http://scdc.scalpha.info), to learn more about the conference.
