(Chair: Dr. Ronnie Hopkins ) Entry Deadline to Submit Chapter Rosters: Saturday, August 31. Preliminaries-Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the College Brothers Summit and Leadership Retreat, on the campus of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
Competition Finals-2019 District Conference, Greenville Hyatt, Greenville, South Carolina.
Collegiate Scholars Bowl
The Dr. John Hope Franklin Collegiate Scholars' Bowl provides a public forum through which undergraduate collegiate scholars demonstrate academic and intellectual knowledge and skills, implemented to highlight scholastic excellence among college members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. The Collegiate Scholars' Bowl promotes individual and team competitive spirit while reinforcing mutual cooperation among participants.
Eligibility
Each member of the team shall be a duly initiated member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. pursuing studies toward a baccalaureate degree at an accredited college or university. Each member shall have met all financial obligations and risk management requirements with the District, Region and the General Organization. Each chapter shall have met all financial and administrative requirements with the District, Region and the General Organization. Furthermore, each Chapter must have its full delegate strength registered at the respective conference.

The questions used in the Alpha Phi Alpha Collegiate Scholars' Bowl are drawn from a wide range of areas of knowledge and intellectual endeavor. They include, but are not limited to, the following broad areas:
