1. F-1 Advising Workshop: 

Description-

This workshop is designed for Designated School Officials at a beginner to intermediate level who want a strong, practical foundation in F-1 student advising. Participants will review the initial I-20 process, F-1 status maintenance, Practical Training, and more, with an emphasis on real-world scenarios and advising best practices. This session is ideal for those newer to F-1 advising as well as experienced professionals looking to refresh and strengthen their core knowledge. Through discussion-based learning and shared experiences, the workshop offers a supportive, collaborative space to ask questions, learn from peers, and build confidence in day-to-day advising.

2. Less Flyers, More Momentum: Engaging Gen Z for Study Abroad 

Description -  

Building momentum for study abroad means moving beyond awareness and creating sustained interest that carries students from first exposure to action. This interactive workshop explores creative, practical, and AI‑powered approaches to marketing and recruitment that meet Gen Z where they are. Participants will engage hands‑on with tools and strategies that go beyond surface‑level outreach, learn unique ways to leverage provider partnerships and existing resources, and examine how Gen Z behaviors, attention spans, and the “forgetting curve” shape student decision‑making. Come ready to experiment, collaborate, and leave with concrete ideas you can implement immediately to build lasting momentum on your campus.
