Operating Hours:
The common area of Shadow Brook Club is open to members from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. The common area is closed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The entrance gate is closed and locked at the end of each day. If you need assistance with the gate, please contact a PAMco, Inc. (Property Manager) or a member of the Board of Directors.
Entry Gate and Keys:
The entry gate to the fenced recreation area is operated by magnetic badge key and is to be closed and locked at all times except when entering and exiting the fenced area. Our facility is a private club to be used by members only and invited guests accompanied by members. Therefore, members are not to loan or give keys to guests or non-members.
Guests:
A maximum of six (6) guests per household will be allowed on any single occasion and must be accompanied by an adult club homeowner at all times. Exceptions to the maximum limit will be considered by the Property Manager and cleared through the Board of Directors. Members dependents, of age 14 or older, who have the permission of their parents, may bring two (2) guests who must also be at least 14 years of age.
Parents will be held responsible for their children and their children's guests who use the common area without adult supervision. A child under the age of 14 may not bring guests unless the child is accompanied and supervised by the parent or an adult designated by the parent to accompany and supervise the child. Guests are required to abide by all club rules. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
Private Property:
All private property on the club premises shall be placed there solely at the owner's risk. The club assumes no responsibility for loss of, or damage to, private property.
Motorized Vehicles:
Motorized vehicles, including motorcycles and motor scooters, are permitted only on the paved entrance drive and parking lot. All motorized vehicles must be licensed and registered. Please do not park on the paved entrance drive. Motorized recreational vehicles such as go-carts, ATV's, etc. are not permitted on club property. Do not drive vehicles over the low water crossing or through the natural areas or on the sidewalk leading to West Creek Loop.
Abusive Language/Behavior:
Abusive language and/or behavior are forbidden at all times.
Alcohol:
No one under 21 years of age is allowed to possess or consume alcoholic beverages on the club premises. Members and their guests, of age 21 and older, who consume alcoholic beverages on the club premises are required to do so in a responsible manner. Members will be held solely responsible for their own conduct and for the conduct of their guests should they decide to consume alcoholic beverages on club premises.
Firearms:
No BB or pellet guns or other firearms are permitted on club premises except for firearms that are carried by law enforcement officers. Discharging a firearm (including a BB or pellet gun) within the city limits of Round Rock is prohibited by city ordinance.
Animals:
Animals are not permitted within the fenced area.
Music:
Music played in any part of the common area must be kept at a reasonable volume so that nearby neighbors and others using the club facility are not disturbed.
Reservations:
The club facilities may be reserved for social functions or other special events for club members. To reserve the club facilities, first verify the facility is available on the Event Calendar page, then send an email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled event to shadowbrookna@gmail.com. A confirmation will be sent to the requester within 24 hrs of receipt.
Miscellaneous:
Eating, drinking and smoking will be permitted only under the cabana and in designated picnic areas. No food is allowed within 5 feet of the pool.
Throwing of rocks, etc. is not permitted.
Objects made of glass are not allowed on the club premises.
Neighborhood children are not to cut small trees and tree limbs or bring materials onto club property for the purpose of building forts, camps, playhouses, etc. unless they have received approval from the board to do so.
No open burning or campfires are permitted on club property.
Members are not permitted to cut trees, brush, natural vegetation, etc. on club property unless they have received approval from the board to do so.
Pedestrians have the right of way on the sidewalk that runs through the common area to and from West Creek Loop. All others must yield to them.
Members are not to use club property as a dumping ground for trash, lawn or construction debris, used household items, etc. It is the duty of each club member to keep the club neat and free of litter.
Delinquent Dues and Rules Infractions:
Article VIII, Section 1.(b) of the Bylaws of Shadow Brook Club, Inc. states that the voting rights and the right to use the recreational facilities may be suspended for homeowners (and their family members) as long as those members are in default of any assessments levied by the Association. The right to use the recreational facilities may also be suspended for any member, after notice and a hearing before the board, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days for infraction of the club's published rules and regulations.
A Note To All Members:
While using or walking through the common area, please observe your surroundings and any activity taking place on the property. Report any problems to the Board of Directors and/or the police if an emergency. If you should observe underage drinking, see or hear someone shooting a firearm on the property, see fires being started or observe any type of vandalism being committed on club property, then, if possible, please report it to the police while the activity is in progress. They will come and investigate the incident. Please report any such incidents that you observe to the board and also inform them if the police were called. The problems and accompanying property damage that we incur as a result of these activities taking place on the club premises will not decrease until we, the members, make a concerted effort to see that the incidents are reported and prosecuted whenever possible.
We encourage all club members in our neighborhood to use our recreation facilities and enjoy our natural areas. All we ask is that you do so in a courteous and responsible manner so that the facilities can be enjoyed by all members who want to use them.
