We work on design, analysis and optimisation of
lightweight structures.
Currently developing methods to
assess crashworthiness in the preliminary design of unconventional aircraft (unconventional configurations and unconventional fuels); and on
exploiting the maximum strength of available materials in designs that allow post-buckling.
