I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Management, Quantitative Methods and Information Systems in Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, India. I started my career in Non-linear Dynamics and followed a non-linear trajectory with research interests shifting towards Data Analytics and Computational Social Science. Prior to joining IIM Udaipur,  I was a post doctoral fellow in Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems (NICO) at Northwestern University Evanston working with Prof Brian Uzzi between Feb 2012 and Jan 2016. Prior to this I worked as postdoctoral fellow in the Amaral lab between Feb 2010 and Jan 2012. I obtained my PhD in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Madras under the supervision of Prof Neelima Gupte in the year 2009. In the recent years my work has been focused on the domain of Big Data, Complex Systems with main focus on Team Science and Innovations and Creativity. My research interests are in Big Data, Physics of Complex Systems, Statistical Physics, Complex Networks, Political Prediction Markets, and Sports Analysis.
