I'm currently a post-doc researcher at the University of Lisbon, studying how children think about themselves and others. I'm particularly interested in how children form impressions of others, how people develop several person perception biases (e.g., the better-than-average effect), and what all this can tell us about social perception processes.

My PhD dissertation (defended 2011) aimed at demonstrating how studies conducted with children can be valuable for testing and informing (adult) social cognitive models. I had the luck to be advised by Leonel Garcia-Marques (University of Lisbon) and Kristina Olson (Yale University, now at the University of Washington).
