I'm the Global Head of STEM Programmes at Study Group. As a Global Head of STEM, I’m responsible for ensuring high standards of STEM curriculum across all International Study Centres. I work with colleagues throughout the network to identify gaps and opportunities in our current offerings and deliver products, new tools, and enhancements that ensure that the best STEM education is provided to students at our International Study Centres across the globe.

Prior to that, I was Head of Curriculum & Progression at the International Study Centre (ISC) of the University of Strathclyde, where I worked for 7 years. My role as a Head of Curriculum and progression was to lead the academic team to develop and deliver courses across STEM, Business and Social Sciences subject areas.

Prior to this, I was Head of STEM at ISC Strathclyde and lead the development and delivery of STEM courses. I have also been involved in programme development for newly established ISCs at Durham University and the University of Aberdeen.

My current research interests are focused on the ways to enhance teaching and learning practices of STEM subjects in Higher Education. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I completed the PhD degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics, advised by Adri Olde Daalhuis, from The University of Edinburgh.

I am a certified Zumba instructor - a skill that I occasionally practice on my colleagues at ISC Strathclyde (they've never complained - they are too nice!). I do a radio show 'Dil Diyan Galaan' on Awaz FM every week on Saturday,13:00-15:00 and Monday, 21:00-23:00.
