We are delighted to congratulate Dr. Santanu Talukder as he was selected as a Young Science and Technology Leader (YST) to attend ESTIC 2025 at New Delhi which was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
The three-day conclave featured discussions on frontier themes such as Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductors, Healthcare, and Quantum Technologies. It also hosted plenary sessions by distinguished speakers, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Andre Geim, Fields Medalist Prof. Manjul Bhargava, Astronaut and Group Captain Subhanshu Shukla, along with other eminent scientists and leaders.
We are happy to share that Dr. Santanu Talukder has received the prestigious Young Scientist Award from the Indian Society of Smart Structures and Systems (ISSS).
The award recognizes outstanding research contributions and innovation at an early stage of the scientific career.

Abhishek, Parth, Soham, and Mohit (EECS and DSE BS students) developed an air quality monitoring device and mobile application called PawaMaan as a low-cost portable sloution for real time monitoring of air quality. Our device won the 2nd position in the 'Environmental Sensing Project Competition' hosted by the University of Helsinki, Finland.
