Research interest

Dynamics of Probe molecules in polymers and Microgels, water molecule sensing in microgel, FLIM super-resolution microscopy and FCS, Development of TWIN-FRET probe and their biological application, Single-molecule spectroscopy of photosynthetic proteins, Development of new cryogenic microscope for single-molecule spectroscopy and imaging, Retinal protein, Excited  state  intramolecular charge transfer,  proton transfer,  biologically  important  and environmentally pollutant ion sensing,  interaction of ICT and ESIPT probe  with protein,  micelle, cyclodextrin etc., development of  multifunctional  materials,  DFT and  ab-initio  calculations,  molecular  docking  and molecular  dynamics simulation etc.
