I have been in the School of Computing since December 2019. I am the Innovation Lead and the Information Services Liaison Lead of iCSS. I am also a member of the Quantum Applications Research Centre (QuARC).

University of East London

Between November 2018 and December 2019, I have worked at the College of Arts, Technology and Innovation, University of East London as a Lecturer in Computer Science and Informatics.

R. C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata

Between August 2018 ans November 2018, I worked as a visiting lecturer at the R. C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

Turing Lab, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata

I worked as a visiting scientist at the Turing Lab, Applied Statistics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata from December 2016 to July 2018. Thereafter, I have visited the Lab on several occasions -- June-August 2022, June-September 2023, June-September 2024.

École Normale Supérieure de Lyon

Between February, 2015 and November, 2016, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the AriC team, LIP laboratory [CNRS, ENSL, INRIA, UCBL, U. Lyon] of ENS-Lyon. This was on the PALSE project titled “Towards practical enhanced asymmetric encryption schemes” led by Benoı̂t Libert.

Industry

Iswar Sankalpa, Kolkata

During November 2017 to February 2018, I worked as a consultant for Iswar Sankalpa. I led a team that designed and developed a secure web-based automated Management Information System for all five mental health programmes of the NGO, where the security of the data access and storage was considered crucial.

Dynamic Digital Technology Private Limited, Kolkata

I worked as a networking developer at Dynamic Digital Technology Private Limited, Kolkata from July, 2006 to July, 2007. I was part of the early design and development of a network security solution that later evolved into the McAfee Data Center Security Suite for Databases, an add-on to McAfee Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).

Infosys Technologies Limited, Bengaluru

I worked as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies Limited, Bengaluru from June, 2005 to June, 2006. I wrote C++ programs for automating the verification of GSM network switching equipment of Nortel.
