I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science (iSchool), Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), where I also hold a joint position as a Chair in the Data Science Convergence Major. My research sits at the intersection of human information interaction, social media, and health informatics — exploring how people seek, share, and make sense of information in digital environments. I am particularly interested in designing user-centered systems that support informed decision-making in health and everyday life contexts. Prior to joining SKKU, I was an Associate Professor at Chungnam National University (CNU), South Korea (2017–2022), and before that, a tenured Assistant Professor at Florida State University (FSU) iSchool, USA (2010–2017, including one year of maternity leave).
