Biography

Sangeeta Bhattacharjee is a Senior Project Associate in the Signal Processing for Communications Lab, Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. She obtained the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India. The title of her thesis is "Cognitive Radio Based Spectrum Sharing Models for Group Communication In 5G Cellular Networks".

Her research interests are in the areas of spectrum sharing, energy harvesting, modeling and optimization of cellular networks.

  • IEEE ComSoc Student Travel Grant award for attending IEEE 2019 GLOBECOM at The Big Island, HI, USA.

  • Visvesvaraya PhD Fellowship for Electronics & Information Technology from Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India for the period 2015-2020.

  • Post Graduate Fellowship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India for the period 2012-2014.

  • Merit Scholarship from Assam Higher secondary Education Council for Securing Star marks in Higher Secondary Examination, 2007.

  • Anundoram Borooah award by the Government of Assam for Securing Distinction in High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2005.
