"GO SEE IT'S"/FIELD TRIPS:

Ranger Sam did a presentation for our Tigers on How Boats Float. They had a great time. **Visitor Center closes in October - if you want to do a program there, you must plan early. Ranger Samantha Gray works year round though, out of the Buzzards Bay office.

World War II Coastal Fortification: We combined a hike up Sagamore Hill with a visit to the site of the former Coastal Fortification. Follow this link to learn more about that. Sagamore Hill is located across from the Fish Pier parking lot at Scusset Beach State Park, Sagamore Beach. New signage makes it easy to find.

MASS AUDUBON SANCTUARY - WELLFLEET:

The trip our Webelos took to the Audubon Center in Wellfleet was really neat! The boys saw all sorts of birds and turtles outside - and there is so much more to see inside. This was a staff led field trip. For the small fee, the trip was well worth it. Not too far - right near the Wellfleet drive-in.

We hiked this "healthy heart trail" in the winter time. Had a great time, saw some wildlife....lots of tracks. Restrooms were open. Quiet!!
