The Sandpiper Property Owners Association (POA)* is made up of Sandpiper property owners. Membership in the association, by a residential buyer, is a condition of purchase. The board of directors is responsible for the management of the POA. The board is made up of nine volunteer directors. Three new directors are elected each year and replace those elected three years prior. The Officers of the Board are voted in by the members of the Board. Specific assignments are also at the discretion of the POA Board. (See POA Directors)

This Meeting will be an opportunity to meet the Candidates running
for three open director positions and will be a good time to ask them questions.
All Association Members are encouraged to attend and meet the candidates.

The Annual Property Owners’ Association Meeting and election of
officers will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM
in the Clubhouse.
The Board of Directors, comprised of volunteer property owners,
is responsible for managing and maintaining all common proper-
ties, collecting fees, and interacting with service providers and
property owners. If you want Sandpiper to remain the best man-
aged retirement community in Polk County, then perhaps you
should step forward and consider being a candidate for Director.
We need people who have skills and experience in a variety of
areas, but above all we need people who will work tirelessly to
ensure the continuity of outstanding management and operation
of Sandpiper Golf & Country Club.
Office Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (off for lunch)
