Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book your holiday accommodation with Sand'n'Paws. We hope you have an enjoyable holiday and that your visit to the area will be as pleasant as possible.

Check-in time is 2pm and we request you vacate by 10am on the day of departure. However we may be able to accommodate alternative times with prior notice depending on cleaning requirements. Accommodation must be paid for in full prior to arrival. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. If your deposit is not received, your booking will be cancelled without notification.

Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property including the unit balcony.

Overcrowding will result in immediate cancellation of the booking, the property must be vacated without refund to the tenant.

During your stay noise must be kept to a reasonable level in particular between 10.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. Comply with parking regulations and show consideration to neighbours. Notify the owner of any complaints as soon as practicable. Be responsible for any guest. Maintain the security of the premises. Refrain from engaging in any drunken, obscene or antisocial behaviour. If the property is damaged during your occupancy due to accident, negligence or wilful act of the guest or the guests invitees the Premises will be repaired by us at the cost of the guest. Any damage over $500 or theft will be lodged with the Police. Use of the property for any event other than a residential holiday is not allowed. Immediate termination of the booking will occur if any of the above is not adhered to.

Where applicable, the Body Corporate Rules and Regulations must be observed. It is a breach of Body Corporate Rules to hang clothes or towels or other articles over balconies. The property must not be used for any unlawful purpose.

We cannot accept responsibility for personal property such as cameras etc, that are left unattended in your holiday accommodation. Neither the Body Corporate nor Sand'n'Paws owner are liable for any damage or loss of property which a person may sustain during their stay.

You may not re-let/sublet the unit to any other third party without our prior written approval.

Special conditions apply for cancellations. If you cancel your booking within 3 weeks and we can secure a replacement booking for the same period, your deposit will be refunded. If however the property cannot be re-let, your deposit is not refundable. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

Breakages. If you accidentally cause damage to your property either by way of keys, glass, furniture or furnishings, please report them to us as soon as possible. Breakages or damages must be paid for.

We reserve the right for our representative or tradesmen to enter the property at any reasonable time to carry out repairs or maintenance work.

Peregian has lovely weather most of the year however sudden changes such as rain and very high winds can occur at any time. Please ensure loose items on the balcony including cushions and lightweight furniture are brought inside when not attended and when you depart.

Duplicate keys are not always available. A fee will be charged for lost keys or access due to keys being locked inside the unit.

There are outdoor showers at the beach entrances and outside the building, please ensure you wash off sand before entering the building.

You are welcome to use consumables in the unit such as salt&pepper, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc however we ask that you replace any items that are running low so others tenants are not inconvenienced.

Pets

We love to holiday with our dog so we are happy for you to stay with your beloved pooch.

Dogs under 10kg are allowed (maximum 2 dogs). Pet owners may be required to pay for the cost of cleaning or repairs if the unit is damaged by their dog. Owners must ensure their dogs are not left unattended in the unit for extended periods of time and that barking does not annoy neighbours.

Cats and other pets are not allowed.
