Grading

Gradings generally happen four times each year, usually held on a Sunday in Queenstown.

You will need to have attended a certain number of lessons before you are invited to grade. For Adults this is about 25 lessons and for children about ten. This difference is because the younger students progress through bars on their coloured belts whereas the adults progress by full grade.
