1 – Insert or past the values of the pilot sample and then press the ADD button. The software has a maximum sample size of 2000 points. The pilot sample represents an initial sample that is performed to arrive at the minimum necessary sample size.
If the minimum sample size is greater than the pilot sample size, a larger pilot sample should be taken.
2 – Select “comma” or “point”. In this example, we use the comma. In case of integers values only, select “comma” or “point”.
3 – Press the ADD button.
4 – Enter the estimation error. This error must have the same measurement unit as the pilot sample values.

5 – Select the desired confidence level. Usually it uses 95%.
6 – Press the CALCULATE button to get the results.
