As teachers, we hear about how great the Common Core standards are for students, teachers and families.  Diane Ravitch gives us another side of the coin to examine....

Diane Ravitch, the education historian who has become the leader of the movement against corporate-influenced school reform, gave this speech to the Modern Language Association on Jan. 18, 2014 about the past, present and future of the Common Core State Standards.
