This workbook is the second in a series being developed in partnership with Séliš-Ql̓ispé Culture Committee, Salish Kootenai College, The Salish Institute & Nk̓ʷusm. The series is designed to help take students of Salish language from beginner to fluent speaker in an efficient, sequenced and predictable manner. Before starting Stories 1 it would be beneficial if you complete A Beginning Course in Salish & Qlispe Book 1 Lessons 1-45.

Seliš Sm̓im̓iʔ 1: A Beginning Course in Salish & Qlispe Dialect, Stories 1-16, S&Q Version layout design has been adapted from the qlispé snuwewlštn, Kalispel Stories (upper Kalispel dialect). Stories 1 -16 S&P Version workbook layout by Melanie Sandoval and Chaney Bell.
