Jean-Guillaume Sahuc

I am a Senior Advisor in the Directorate General Statistics, Economics and International at the Banque de France and an Adjunct Professor of Economics at University Paris Nanterre (Economix).

I am a macroeconomist with research interests in monetary and financial  economics, fiscal policy and climate change. In econometrics, I am interested in the estimation techniques of structural models, in particular Bayesian tools. 

From 2015 to 2021, I was head of the Financial Economics Research Division at the Banque de France and from 2012 to 2015, I was deputy head of the Monetary Policy Research Division at the Banque de France. In 2011, I was a Professor of Economics at EDHEC Business School, where I taught macroeconomics and microeconomics. From 2007 to 2010, I was a senior economist at the Banque de France and I lectured on econometrics and computational methods at the University.
