MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
At the November 15, 2018 luncheon, three inspiring law students attended the luncheon. Yuliy Tsymbal, Hannah Myer and Nataliya Shtevnina. That day all three were volunteering at Futures High School, which is a charter school with a student body comprised mostly of Slavic students. The workshop was on how to apply to college, wherein they covered information regarding scholarships, FAFSA, and personal statements to help the students apply to college. The workshop was hosted by the non-profit organization Slavic Association of Ambitious Youth (SAAY), which Yuliy himself co-founded with some friends several years ago when he was a student at UC Davis. The non-profit exists to equip and motivate ethnically Slavic students to aim higher and achieve more in their academic endeavors. The organization is now led by a current UC Davis student. However, it is likely that Yuliy's law school friends and he will support them in more workshops in the future. Please make time to pray for Yuliy, Hannah and Nataliya as they strive to improve the lives of others through the grace of Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 43:18-19 -- "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
