Labs
As required by the New York Regents Living Environment Exam, four labs must be completed, which are tested on the exam:
- Relationships and biodiversity
- Making connections
- The beaks of finches
- Diffusion through a membrane
Additional labs must align with the New York State Next Generation Science Standards, as outlined by the performance expectations. The National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) sells many high quality books that align to the NGSS. Suggested books to use that align with the NGSS performance expectations include:
