About Me

I was born in New York City but I grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (where my heart is). I returned to NYC for my high school years and I've been here ever since. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work at City University of New York (York College). I later pursued my Masters of Education in Adolescent Education 7-12 at Mercy College. I love traveling. I have been to Europe, The Caribbean, South and Central America, and different parts of the U.S. My next big trips are Japan and Iceland. It's just a matter of time.

I have been teaching 7th grade science since 2000 and thoroughly enjoy it. I try to instill in my students a good work ethic and that when you give it all your effort, it is never a failure. I want my students to know that education is the only way to have as many choices in life as one can. The more educated you are, the more options you will have.
