M. Sc. in Statistics from the University of Calcutta, India (1998). Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, India (2004). Postdoctoral fellow at the Iowa State University, USA (2004 - 2005). Received the GM global R&D award for the best innovative research in 2009 as a researcher in General Motors India R&D lab. Scientific career has specialized in applications of statistics and mathematics in ecology, epidemiology and agriculture.

Some of my sensitive compartments :

• Deep emotion and respect on Rabindra Sangeet (Tagore's song).

• Making clay idols of Indian classical goddesses.

• Don't want to forget the contribution of seniors who helped a lot to reach at present position.
