Artist Bio

Sabine Hinz started working with glass in 1987 when she took her first stained glass class. In 2009 she retired from her job as a systems analyst and has been able to spend more time creating glass art. Since then Sabine has taken glass fusing classes from the award winning glass artist Lee Brady. Sabine has been a member of the Saskatoon Glass Workers Guild since 2012 and was the Editor of the guild's newsletter for four years.

Artist Statement

I love the way the glass captures and reflects light. The sparkle and the reflection can't be matched by any other medium.
