About Me

Brian Lewis is an English Instructor at Century College in White Bear Lake, MN. He was on sabbatical during the 2010-2011 academic year and learned a lot! At Century, he teaches composition, American Literature, and Introduction to GLBT Studies. In Fall 2011, he will be teaching two sections of English 0090 (Introduction to Writing), one of Introduction to GLBT Studies, and one of African-American Literature. In Spring 2012, he will teach three sections of Composition 1 (two online) and one Short Novel class. He will also continue to serve as editor of MEJ (Minnesota English Journal) for MCTE (Minnesota Council of Teachers of English). In 2009, Brian was named an "Outstanding Educator" in MnSCU by the MnSCU Board of Trustees.
