To Whom It May Concern:

It is my great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ryan Enns.  Ryan has been my son’s guitar teacher for the past two years.   Under Ryan’s steady and knowledgeable guidance my son has built strong musical skills and has come to love playing the guitar.  

Ryan has been an excellent guitar teacher in every way.  In addition to encouraging my son to develop skills in areas that my son naturally enjoys (i.e. playing by ear) Ryan has also ensured that he put effort into learning techniques that he resists (i.e. note reading).  Ryan’s personality and teaching abilities have been the perfect combination for our son – Ryan’s flexibility, knowledge of music, patience and humour make each lesson enjoyable and useful. 

My husband’s and my only concern was when Ryan told us he was moving away from Vancouver!  Ryan’s teaching and warm presence will be greatly missed in our home.

I highly recommend Ryan as a guitar teacher and as a role model because of his outstanding qualities.
