Hello,

My name is Gavin Hayashida. I am a Japanese American and was born and raised in Hawaii, which is the 50th state of the United States of America. I moved to Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan in 2007 and have been teaching English ever since. After working in the Japanese education system for several years, I noticed that students are taught English to take tests, NOT to be able to use it in Real World situations. The philosophy of my school is to teach students "English you can use". If you are interested in learning English you can use, maybe I can help.
