Dr. Rutvij H. Jhaveri serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), India, and holds the position of a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Rutvij completed his Postdoctoral Research at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore (Delta-NTU Corporate Lab for Cyber-Physical Systems), in 2019. He holds Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. Throughout his academic career, he has held significant administrative leadership roles, including serving as Head of the Department of Information Technology at S.V.M. Institute of Technology. His contributions to higher education and research have been honored with the Best Ph.D. Supervisor Award (2024) and the Pedagogical Innovation Award (2017) from Gujarat Technological University.

He is recognized among the top Global Scientists (2021–2025) by Stanford University/Elsevier. A Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE), he has authored over 200 high-impact publications—including 30+ in premier IEEE/ACM Transactions and flagship conferences—alongside holding multiple national and international patents and copyrights. He serves on the editorial boards of prestigious journals of IEEE, Springer Nature, and Frontiers, while contributing as an active advisory/TPC member for renowned global conferences. He is a member of the prestigious IEEE IES Technical Committee on Building Automation, Control, and Management, the Advisory Board of the Smart Cities Air Quality Network, and holds professional memberships in CSI, ISTE, and other key technical bodies. Additionally, he served as a district-level committee member for the Government of Gujarat's Smart Village Project in 2017.
