Dr. Rutvij H. Jhaveri works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU/PDPU), India. He completed his Postdoctoral Research from Delta-NTU Corporate Lab for Cyber-Physical Systems, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2019. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2016 and Master’s degree in 2012. Apart from numerous academic assignments, he shouldered the responsibility as Head of the Department (IT) from 2005 to 2010 in S.V.M. Institute of Technology. In 2017, he was awarded with prestigious Pedagogical Innovation Award by Gujarat Technological University.
He was among the top 2% of scientists around the world in 2023, 2022, and 2021, listed by Stanford University and Elsevier. He is an editorial board member in various journals of repute including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics and Scientific Reports. He also serves as a reviewer in several international journals and also as an advisory/TPC member in renowned international conferences. He authored 160+ articles including prestigious IEEE/ACM Transactions and flagship IEEE/ACM conferences. Moreover, he has several national and international patents and, copyrights to his name. He is a senior member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He also possesses memberships of various technical bodies such as ACM, CSI, ISTE, and others. He is a member of the Advisory Board in Smart Cities Air Quality Network, Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management, and other reputed universities. In 2017, he was awarded "Pedagogical Innovation Award" by Gujarat Technological University. He also served as a committee member in the "Smart Village Project" - Government of Gujarat, at district level during the year 2017.
