9th GDR RSD / ASF Winter School on Distributed Systems & Networks 2025
Next edition will take place on February 3—7 2025!
Once again, the winter school (the 8th edition) was a great success. Thanks to the speakers, all the PhD students and the sponsors!
Le GDR Réseaux et Systèmes Distribués (RSD) du CNRS, en collaboration avec l'association ACM SIGOPS France (ASF), organisent la 8e édition de son école d'hiver du 3 Février (soir) au 7 Février 2025 (midi) au Pleynet, Sept Laux.
The GDR RSD and the French Chapter of ACM SIGOPS jointly organize the 7th edition of its Winter school from February3th (evening) to February 7th (lunch time), 2025 in the village of Pleynet, Sept Laux.
The school will feature 7 thematic sessions.
Each of these sessions will include :
A keynote (1h15)
Short presentations by attending PhD students, MSc students and post-doctoral researchers (15 minutes)
Open discussions around the school topics.
Keynotes and discussions will be in English. Short participant presentations should preferentially be given in English, but French can be accepted if necessary.

Please note that the registration policy is "first-in-first-in".
Important note: Registering to the winter school means that you commit to respect the school rules: attendance to all sessions is mandatory, and we follow a closed-laptop policy. Please note that internet connectivity with your 4G operator can be limited due to the remote location.
Registration costs will be of 390€ only for students and post-docs and 450€ for permanent staff. The priority will be given to PhD students.
The registration fees include:
Housing in shared rooms (4 to 6 persons) for 4 nights from Monday to Friday,
All meals from Monday dinner to Friday lunch,
A social dinner: "raclette au feu de bois",
Transport back and forth by a shuttle booked by the school from Grenoble railway station.
