This is where any new setting or house rules I think up will go.
Over-Exertion
(Note: This was created within the first couple of months that I was learning Savage Worlds. I may update this at a later date.)
A character with an arcane background needs more P.P. to pull off a power, they can strain themselves, voluntarily taking 1 level of Fatigue to gain 2 P.P. or two levels of Fatigue for 5 P.P. The amount of Fatigue they are want to take must be decided on before gaining any power points. The caster check does suffer from the fatigue penalty the player is at. This fatigue wears off at 1 point per hour. The character does not gain any P.P. until all the fatigue from the strain has been removed. Fast Recovery does not affect how fast the fatigue is regained.
I know there are edges that can mimic this. I was looking to use as a possible setting rule.
