Who We Are - Rotarians Serving Humanity

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.

Rotary International is concerned with several large projects, such as Polio eradication and clean drinking water, as well as local service opportunities. In all things Rotarians say and do, we follow the Four Way Test.

The Rotary Club of Jackson-Breakfast was chartered in 1985 and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Jackson. Rotarians concerned about the meeting length, and worried about taking time away from the work day, established the 7 a.m. meeting time for convenience. Working members can get to work on time, since each week's meeting only lasts one hour.

If you are looking for a way to help out in the community, network with area professionals, and give back to the world at large - but still have a tight schedule to keep - the Rotary Club of Jackson-Breakfast is perfect for you.
