Including generous contributions from many returning alumni and the planning committee, the final tally of income and expenses resulted in a net contribution to the Rose House Campaign of $4435. Thank you all for your participation and support of Triangle at Rose! (Detailed spreadsheet attached to this page.)
Denny Colvin took on the yoeman's work of designing, organizing, and procuring the many display and commemorative items for our celebration. Denny has put all the display items in an album here -> https://flic.kr/s/aHsmgHBfKM. Special thanks go out to Denny for all that you do!!!
We need your pictures of the weekend to add to our album on Flickr! Please dig out your camera and/or phone and upload your pix. The pictures are being gathered in a "group pool" on Flickr. The link to the group is -> https://www.flickr.com/groups/4483359@N20/pool/.
If you are signed up on Flickr or have a Yahoo account, you can get your photos into the group pool by:
Register/Login to Flickr and click on the Upload icon (cloud w/arrow) and upload your photos.
They will now be in your Camera Roll.
Search for the group using "rose triangle 50th" or use the link above.
Join the group.
Select You -> Organize which takes you to the Batch Organizer page.
Click on Groups. You should now see a page with your camera roll at the bottom and the Triangle Rose 50th Photos group icon in the middle.
You can select the recently uploaded photos with the drop down list that says "All your content", pick the upload date.
Click Select All or whichever photos you intend to share.
Drag them up and drop on the 50th Group icon to copy them to the pool.
You're done! The pix should be in our group pool now!
For those that do not want to create an account on Flickr, we have an alternative. We've setup a folder on our 50th Google Account Drive and enabled a way to anonymously upload files to the folder. To send us your photos this way:
Package up your photos into a Zip file using your favorite zipping utility. On Windows, you can select the files, right-click, Send to, compressed (zipped) folder.
Name the zip file something useful like "50th_<yourname>.zip" to help us have unique names.
Go to this site -> https://script.google.com/macros/s/AKfycbzlVMysB-PBGMFEjG-jhZyX0N_lS4XYzPTKFAty/exec
Enter your name (this goes into the description of the file)
Select the zip file and click Upload
We now have your pix and one of us will add them to the Flickr group pool. Please send an email to this address to let us know you uploaded some photos or if you have any questions.
Renewing our friendships by gathering together as brothers strengthens our fraternity and builds a stronger chapter. Please keep in touch with each other, come to Homecoming and Founders Day when you can, and organize reunions of your fellow classmates from time to time.
Yours in F,S, and C.
The 50th committee.
