Hi! I am Marlee and this is a portfolio of some of my past work. In my art, I draw inspiration from botanical prints, anatomical studies and surrealism. I feel a spiritual connection to nature, and draw and paint from life when possible. Some of my work is of a more personal nature, delving into the relationships between plants and humans. I use this symbolism as a way to process my own personal battles with mental health, physical illness, as well as contemplations about life, death, and spirituality.
