HOME Farm

The pioneer community known as Rosemount located on the Property where our farm is now located.

The wooden building on the side of the road was once a Orange Lodge where meetings were held up until 1961 LOL Orange Lodge # 753 (see History page for more ) Emerson and Marjorie Tedford lived on this farm when their family were young and then moved across the road to a larger home. They milked dairy cows at that location till about 1976 when their 2 grown sons took over the operation and they retired to live in Tara.

Rosemount Farms is owned and operated by Howard and Kathy Tedford.

Our Family Farm has been in the Tedford/Wark Family for 5 generations and over 150 years. We operate a mixed livestock with mostly Charolais Cattle.... Cows and Calves and Pasture Cattle in summer and Feedlot in the Winter.

We grow most of our own Grain and Hay for Feed. Farm life has given us the freedom to raise our children on home grown produce. We have enjoyed our hobby of raising horse's for riding and driving and just for the fun of joining with friends who enjoy the hobby as well.
