Welcome to the website of the Roscoe Historical Museum of Roscoe, Texas.
Our goal is to make available a large number of photographs and other materials that reflect life in Roscoe as it has progressed and developed over the years.
If you have old photos of Roscoe or the immediate surrounding area suitable for inclusion here, please scan them in and send the copies to me. Especially welcome are photos of the downtown area, the school, and civic activities like parades and carnivals--and photos from all decades are welcome, particularly those from the 60's and earlier. Send them to me at eduncan1@gmail.com. If you have too many to send as e-mail attachments, let me know, and we can come up with one of the other methods of delivery now available online.
Images of relevant documents that reflect the life of the community are also welcome.
If you live in Roscoe and don't have a scanner for your photos, let me know, and I'll be happy to scan them in on mine. I'll be careful not to damage any of them in the process and will return them as soon as I'm done.
Features
Photo of the Week: This feature was active until November 2021. Every week the Roscoe Hard Times blog included a historical photo, but it ceased when the blog did. Nevertheless, the accumulated photos are still available here in the Photo of the Week archive. The photos have been restored and enlarged for detailed viewing.

Historic Photo Slideshows: These are slideshows of historic photographs of Roscoe and surrounding area. Slideshows are presented by decade. The early decades are already available. Others will be posted when finished.

Roscoe, Snyder & Pacific Railway: This site was inexplicably deleted by Google. It is hoped to be restored in the future. The history details the live of the RS&P, a nationally known short line that had a great impact on the community during its 77 years of existence: 1907-1984.
