Mr. Wright's English students who participate in the Midnight Shakespeare program do no have to do English homework on Monday or Wednesday nights or any night during performance week.
Mr. Wright's drama students will receive extra credit.
In addition, those who participate may receive special credit, special privileges and special considerations.

When is Midnight Shakespeare?
After school, January 31- April 14
Mondays and Wednesdays, 3 to 6 PM (No classes Feb. 21 and 23)
Every day after school during performance week which is April 11-14.
Final performance is on Thursday, April 14 at 7 PM.

How much does it cost?
It's free. The program is funded by generous grants including the National Endowment for the Arts.
How do you get involved?
Students should attend the first two after school sessions on Monday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 2.
Parents should plan to attend the parent meeting on Monday, February 7 at 5:30 PM.
60 to 80 children are expected to show interest but only 50 can be accepted. Selection is based on attendance, parent attendance on February 7, grade level, prior experience, and attitude.
